For me it i was using google messanging as default to get web access and edge lighting worked when phone screen was on but didn t work when the screen was off. I still get the notification sound when the sreen is off but no edge lighting shows.

I used to have the fix lighting for all apps and it worked fine but now after restoring my phone the lighting notifications only work when the screen is off and not when the screen is on.
