Rubber Band Snapping Feeling In Neck

This happened 3 more times before i realized that what i thought was someone shooting me with a rubber band was actually an internal issue.
Rubber band snapping feeling in neck. I can feel it on the entire length of my neck. Snapping is generally caused by a tendon and or bursa. And yes this will feel way more intense than i slept wrong last night so if you experience severe neck pain play it safe and call 911. I turn my neck and bam it occurs maybe once a month.

Or in any muscle group that bands around your body like your neck head around your arm or leg as opposed to the kind of spasticity that moves up and down the muscle causing contractions in your leg for example. Another possible factor in neck crepitus could be the snapping sound of ligaments and or tendons as they move over bones or other tissues located in the neck region.
